We all love those warm golden-hour photos, but there's something just as beautiful about a moody day. Amelia & Sam's engagement session was cold and overcast but the soft light made for such a dreamy feel.
Forest Park in St. Louis made for the perfect backdrop, too.
I love how much variety the park offers. We can capture so many different looks and settings in one session without having to rush from place to place. it gives us plenty of room to slow down, enjoy the experience, and let your photos feel relaxed, natural, and completely your own.

This session is such a good example of what I love most about photographing couples, the genuine moments between the poses. I want my couples to feel comfortable enough to laugh, move, play, and simply enjoy being together. Those moments create the most meaningful images!
One of my favorite things about this gallery is the way the purple flowers and the bright whites came together. The colors create a beautiful contrast that let Carly and Gavin stand out. I edit my pictures to be true to the setting with soft, natural tones that keep the focus on the connection and beauty of the moment.

This session was so much fun! Logan and Lizzy drove all the way from Arkansas to St. Louis to take their engagement pictures at the. beautiful Forest Park and Lafayette Square.
When shooting engagement pictures I LOVE capturing the love that is uniquely yours. When you show up to your session I never expect you to know how to pose. I'll give you plenty of direction, but I also like to leave room for you to laugh and enjoy your time together. As much as I love the fun, creative, and trendy shots sometimes you just can't beat a classic couples portrait that will never go out of style. That's why your gallery will include all of it!
